Tournament Bound!

Both First Girls’ Hockey and First Boys’ Hockey are New England tournament bound. With a record of 19-3, the girls clinched the No. 3 seed in Division I. They will face No. 7 Cushing at home on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The boys have earned a coveted spot in the “Elite Eight” tournament for the first time under the new format. Westminster (17-6-2), the No. 7 seed, will travel to Boston to play Belmont Hill, the No. 2 seed, on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The draw for each tournament is as follows:

No. 1 Nobles v. No. 8 BB&N
No. 2 Choate v. No. 7 Williston
No. 3 Westminster v. No. 6 Cushing
No. 4 St. Paul’s v. No. 5 Tabor
 
Boys’ New England “Elite Eight”
No. 1 KUA v. No. 8 Gunnery
No. 2 Belmont Hill v. No. 7 Westminster
No. 3 Berkshire v. No. 6 Salisbury
No. 4 Kent v. No. 5 Dexter
 

New Englands - Swimming and Diving
Westminster Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming and Diving teams placed seventh in Founders League competition this past weekend and now head to the New Englands. Diving will begin competing at Suffield Academy on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 9 a.m., while the swimming team heads to Wesleyan College on Saturday, March 2, at 10 a.m. for its championships.
