Martlets to Compete in Holiday Tournaments

It is time for the annual holiday tournaments, and as in past years, a number of Westminster’s teams will take part in competitions both in the area and in Boston.
 
The First Boys’ Hockey team will participate in the Flood-Marr Tournament and the First Girls’ Hockey team will play in the Harrington Invitational. Both tournaments are in Boston. Games will begin on Friday, Dec. 14, and continue throughout the weekend.
 
The First Boys’ Basketball team will play in the Bob Southall Classic Tournament at Loomis Chaffee School on Dec. 13 and 14.
 
The location and times of the early rounds of all of the tournaments are listed below. As the competitions progress, this Web site will be updated with results and game information.
 

First Boys’ Basketball:
Thursday, Dec. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
Westminster vs. Berkshire School
Location: Loomis Chaffee School
 

First Boys’ Hockey
Friday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m.
Westminster vs. Hotchkiss School
Location: Noble and Greenough School
 
Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m.
Westminster vs. Phillips Academy
Location: Milton Academy
 
Final games on Dec. 16 (TBA) at Noble and Greenough School
 

First Girls’ Hockey
Friday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 a.m.
Westminster vs. Milton Academy

Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2:30 p.m.
