Hockey Teams to Play in Holiday Tournaments in Boston

For the first time, both First Girls’ Hockey and First Boys’ Hockey will head to Boston to play in holiday tournaments. The boys will once again compete in the Flood-Marr Invitational, where they were victorious last year in the championship game with a 3-2 overtime win over Kimball Union.

This will also be the inaugural version of the girls’ tournament, the Harrington Invitational. After hosting a very successful Westminster Invitational for many years, the girls are excited to head out of town to play different teams in a highly competitive atmosphere. Both tournaments will run Dec. 16-18.

The girls will face Milton, Williston, and Buckingham Browne & Nichols (BB & N) in the opening rounds, while the boys are scheduled to play Hotchkiss, Andover and Nobles. Anyone interested in seeing the best hockey prep schools have to offer should find their way to Boston that weekend to see Westminster compete:
 
Girls:
12/16: Milton at 12:30 p.m. Location - Noble and Greenough School
12/17: BB&N at 10:30 a.m. Location - Milton Academy
12/17: Williston at 6:30 p.m. Location - Milton Academy
 
Boys:
12/16: Hotchkiss at 3 p.m. Location - Milton Academy
12/17: Andover at 11 a.m. Location - Noble and Greenough School
12/17: Nobles at 5 p.m. Location - Noble and Greenough School
