“Eurydice” Completes Successful Three-Night Run

Despite a change of production dates due to the recent power outage in Simsbury, Westminster Dramat’s production of “Eurydice” by Sarah Ruhl completed a very successful run Nov. 14, 15 and 16 in the Werner Centennial Center.

“The impact of the storm left us in very dire straights,” said Director of Theater A-men Rasheed. “Once power was restored, we had some faculty, students and parents come in when they were available to help us get our set built at a more rapid-than-usual pace. I was pleased that the actors retained most of the work once we got back to rehearsing. We were adding set features and technical enhancements all the way through to closing night. Everyone really came together to make this a special experience and a wonderful show.”
