First Field Hockey in Class A New England Tournament

In what has become a tradition for First Field Hockey, the team has once again advanced to the Class A New England Tournament. Earning the #3 seed, the Martlets will face #6 Deerfield at Suffield Academy on Wednesday. Westminster has compiled an 11-3 record and defeated the Big Green earlier in the season 4-2. Undefeated Hotchkiss has once again earned the #1 seed and Greenwich Academy, who defeated Westminster on Saturday, is the #2 seed. The quarterfinal games are as follows:
 
Quarter-finals games will be held on Wednesday, November 16th at 2:15pm
#1 Hotchkiss vs. #8 Milton @ Taft
#2 Greenwich vs. #7 Andover@ Choate
#3 Westminster vs. #6 Deerfield @ Suffield
#4 Nobles vs. #5 Taft @ Thayer
 
The semi-final and championship rounds will beheld at Taft this weekend. In 2010, the Martlets were knocked out in the quarter-final round after making it to the championship game and losing to Hotchkiss in overtime in 2009.
