Athletes Honored

Standouts on the First Girls’ Soccer and First Field Hockey teams recently received accolades for their performances during the fall season.

 

For soccer, Amanda Boulier ’11 and Steph Piperno ’11 were both named 2010 All State Selections by the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association. Piperno was also designated a 2010 Boston Globe All Star and a 2010 All New England Selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

 

For field hockey, Mallory Mason ’11, in addition to earning a spot on the Mid-Atlantic National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region Team, was named Second Team, NFHCA High School All-American. Rachel Kennedy ’12 also was honored with a spot on the NEPSAC Field Hockey All-Tournament Team for Class A.

 

All four girls were integral to the success of their teams and helped the squads earn places in the New England Class A Tournament.
