Trip to France - Spring 2011
The Language Department has announced a spring trip to France in March of 2011. Every other year the department offers a trip to France. The trip is arranged in conjunction with the company Vistas in Education, which has offices in Minneapolis and Paris. The Language Department has chosen VIE not only because they arrange outstanding tours and guides for six days in Paris and in the Provence region, but they also arrange a six-day home stay for each student in the western suburbs of Paris. Although students are sometimes anxious about this part of the trip in the beginning, they often find these six days to be the highlight of their stay as the language and culture that they have been learning in the classroom come alive.
