Annual “Fifth Form College Day” for Parents of Fifth Formers, Saturday, February 16, 2008

The Westminster School College Office has planned an informative program that will give parents a full overview of the college process at Westminster as well as insight into the overall climate of college admissions.

Three college admissions professionals make up this year’s panel discussion, including: Andrew N. Carter, Alumni Admissions Coordinator at the College of the Holy Cross; Kerrin L. Damon, Assistant Director of Admissions at Tufts University; and Ann Fleming Brown, Interim Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid at Union College.

Our panelists will discuss current trends in college admissions and will provide insight into the "behind the scenes" work of an admissions committee. There will also be ample time for questions.

Registration will begin Saturday morning at 8:30 in Fearn Hall, Cushing, the main administration building. The formal program will start at 9:00 AM and finish by 12:15 PM. For parents interested in information on athletic recruiting, please register in Fearn Hall at 8:00 AM. Peter Newman will be offering a short seminar at 8:15 AM in Lounsbury Auditorium.

Forms for the program can be downloaded from the links below.
