Westminster First Field Hockey Out of Tournament

First Field Hockey lost 2-0 to a strong, fast Nobles team. After a two hour bus ride and with sidelines filled with supportive Nobles fans, Westminster seemed to drop back onto their heels in the opening minutes and never steadily regained control or composure during the game.

Nobles scored their first goal off of a fast break, leaving the Martlets behind after only five minutes of play.  Nobles solidified their win with a second goal in the second half. Kayla Lessard '08 played well in goal during her final game as Westminster's goalkeeper and allowed Nobles' speedy and skilled forwards only two goals. While the team would have liked to have finished on a win, it was a successful season for this talented team.
