Students Help Fight Juvenile Diabetes

Three van loads of Westminster students traveled to Rentschler Field in East Hartford early in the morning on Sept. 30 to participate in a two-mile walk to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. It was the 10th time Westminster students have participated in this special event that attracts thousands of people. Westminster students raised more than $600 for juvenile diabetes research this year and dedicated their efforts to a number of students who inspired Serving Our Neighbors (SON) to participate.
