Martlets Run Rule Kent

The boys made the long trip west to take on the Lions of Kent. Zach Jainchill '25 relieved Max Williams '25 early on and would go to throw 3+ innings. This allowed the Martlets to build a 4-0 lead. Kent would battle back. Ethan Villacis '27 came on in relief and kept the game tied. The Martlets would respond to giving up a 4 spot with 3 runs of their own in the bottom of the 5th and eventually added 7 more to tally 14 on the day. Wyatt Nadeau '25 made his Westy debut on the mound and threw a scoreless inning. Offensive stars included Easton Masse '25 (4 hits, 4 RBI, 1 SB), Jake Pleau '26 (2 XBH, 3 RBI), Jack Sheldon '24 (2 hits), Vinny Maslauskas '24 (2 hits), and Alex Mihailovich '25 (2 hits). The boys welcome Loomis to Osborn Field on Saturday afternoon.
