A Display of Grit

The Martlets faced off against a talented Williston team on Wednesday afternoon. The Martlets held the advantage in the draw circle the entire game, winning eighteen of the games 28 draw controls. Hadley Crowther ‘25 earned ten of those eighteen draw controls, while Margee Mahoney ‘24 earned five of her own. Liza Merrill ‘25 and Alex Musser ‘26 were also instrumental on the draw circle to help maintain Martlet possession.  Charlotte Radin ‘25 made seven saves while Matyas entered the game in relief and earned two saves of her own in the final quarter of the game. Goals were scored by Crowther (1), Merrill (2), Musser (2), Mahoney (2) and Kate Epke ‘27 (1).  The Martlets will resume Founders’ League Play on Saturday when they travel to Kent.
