A Talented Opponent

Westminster hosted a talented Greenwich Academy team on Monday afternoon to mark their first game on the new Harrison turf field. Alex Musser ‘26 (2) and Liza Merrill ‘25 (1) netted the Martlet’s three goals. Kate Epke ‘27 dished off two assists. Charlotte Radin made six saves and Julia Matayas ‘24 earned her first minutes in the cage earning her first career save. The Martlet defense played a strong game stopping GA in many long defensive sets. Tilly lynch ‘26 caused two GA turn overs.  The Martlets will travel to Massachusetts to face off against another strong out of league opponent in Williston North Hampton School.
