A Hard Fought Win for the Martlets

The thirds girls tennis team exhibited their trademark grit and grace during today’s match against Hotchkiss. The team needed to think on their feet as the opposition struggled to put together a lineup that had Coach Russell swapping courts and players minutes before the matches began. Whether they were singles matches, doubles matches, or exhibition matches, every single Martlet fought hard on the court, ultimately coming away with the overall win. Big doubles wins from the dynamic duos of Avery Boulanger ‘25 & Emilia Pasquarelli ‘25 and Mia Lee ‘24 & Jennifer Yang ‘25. The “Red Hot” award goes to Lulu Dawson who was quoted as saying, “She has a really powerful swing but I’m not afraid” before taking the court against her Hotchkiss opponent.
