A Split Decision

Enjoying the first warm and sunny day of spring, the Martlets took to Hop Meadow on a rare Monday match with both KO and Hotchkiss. As always, Hotchkiss arrived with a high compete level, but the Martlets raised their own games to play some impressive golf.  Similarly, the Black and Gold enjoyed their matches with K-O who are in the early phases of their own program.  It’s nice to see girls’ golf on the rise everywhere. The line-up for Westminster included Cindion Huang ‘25, Lucy Wainwright ‘25, Taylor Horgan ‘24, Ella Ungerman ‘25 and Annabelle Krieger ‘27.  Horgan enjoyed one of her best ball striking days ever en route to defeating her K-O opponent and tying her Bearcat opponent.  Her 43 would be Westminster's low score of the day.  Next up Greens Farms Academy.
