A Test of Will

Saturday’s contest against Choate and Trinity Pawling proved to be a test of will. Hampered by the cold and rainy conditions, the boys had to dig deep to find the motivation to keep going. However, once the competition began, the boys found themselves battling against two very strong teams. Unfortunately, the team was unable to pull out the victory, but they gave a consistent and determined effort all day. There were some bright spots that are worth mentioning. James O’Connell ‘25 won the 1500 meter run, Reggie Kanu ‘25 won the high jump, and Daniel Edwards ‘24 won the 300m hurdles. Next weekend the team will host Avon Old Farms.
