A Learning Experience

The season's first meet against Suffield Academy and Cheshire Academy was a learning experience. Being young and inexperienced and having reduced numbers, I made the team aware that we would have an uphill climb all season, but we are committed to a theme of individual progress and success. Given our focus, we had a few standout performances. Reggie Kanu ‘25 took second in the high jump with a height of 5’8”, Daniel Edwards ‘24 finished second in the 300IM hurdles, and James O’Connell ‘25 won the 3000m run. As the Martlets regroup and prepare for the home opener against Trinity Pawling and Choate Rosemary Hall, it is vital the boys use the Suffield meet as a guide to secure different outcomes this weekend.
