A Hard-Earned Victory

Congratulations to the JV girls on their hard-earned victory! Despite facing adversity with a lack of astroturf shoes, the team received a generous assist from the varsity players, who selflessly swapped footwear to ensure everyone could compete comfortably. A huge shoutout to Coach Sullivan and her varsity team for their sportsmanship and support in our time of need. Facing tough odds, our players displayed unwavering determination, giving their all with every point. Special recognition goes to those who may not have seen much playing time but continued to rally their teammates with their vocal support, contributing to crucial plays by Payton Eckert ’27 and Abbey Cirelli ’27, who each scored four points. Bella Lilien ’27 and Sophia Lazor ’27 set the tone early on with their opening-minute goals, putting pressure on the opposing team from the start. Helen Kennedy ’27 and Eliza Reilly ’27 also came through with pivotal points at key moments, helping to shift the momentum in our favor. Chase Hager ’26 demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, scoring our final goal and securing the win. The entire team rallied behind her after she fell, offering support as trainers and coaches attended to her. We wish Chase a speedy recovery and extend our heartfelt gratitude for her invaluable contribution to our victory.
