The Westy boys wrapped up their last regular season meet with a tri-meet against Avon Old Farms School and Hopkins.
The competition started off with the 200 Medley Relay team off John Dwyer ’26, Reggie Kanu ’25, Will Larock ’26 and Owen Huang ’24 taking second place to Hopkins and finishing with a season best time.
Will Larock ’26 took second place in the 200 free and Matthew O’Connell ’25 took 6th place, making his first New England cut.
John Dwyer ’26 took first place in the 200 IM with an impressive swim.
Reggie Kanu ’25 took second place in the 50 free with Owen Huang ’24 coming in third.
Owen Huang ‘ 24 took second place in the 100 fly and Sam Hyde ’25 took fourth both with season best times.
Reggie Kanu ’25 came back and took 1st place in the 100 free and Filip Tomic ’25 took 6th place both with season best times.
Will Larock ’26 came in third place in the 500 free while Matthew O’Connell ’25 took 6th place.
The relay team of John Dwyer ’26, Owen Huang ’24, Will Larock ’26 and Reggie Kanu ’25 came in second place with a season best time in the 200 Free Relay.
The 100 back was won by John Dwyer ’26 and Sam Hyde ’25 took 6th place.
Filip Tomic ’25 took 5th while Nolan Styspeck ’24 took 6th in their season debuts of the 100 breaststroke.
The meet was wrapped up with the relay team of Filip Tomic ’25, Matthew O’Connell ’25, Nolan Styspeck ’24 and Sam Hyde ’25 taking 5th place.
The Martlets are back in action on Saturday at the Founders League Championship meet at the Hotchkiss School and wrap up the season with the New England Division II Championship meet in White River Junction, VT on Saturday March 2nd
