Martlets Fall to LC

The mosquitos were swarming on a wet Friday afternoon for Westminster’s 3rds Girls’ Soccer team. This applies both literally and figuratively, as the Loomis Chaffee squad swarmed the field, played with high intensity, were incredibly aggressive, and led at the half 4-0. Numerous players on Westminster found themselves on the ground after contact with their opponents’ aggressive style. Shout outs in the defeat go to Lily Shuster ‘27, who made numerous saves despite the score, which could have been much worse. Sophie McKenna ‘27 was spotted all over the field, and played multiple positions throughout the game, as well as Delia Lockwood ‘26, who has been one of the team’s most versatile players. Aerin Kim ‘27 played solid defense in the second half and has shown she is able to handle any of the defensive positions.
