Lack of Structure

The Martlets were a little slow out of the gate following the long winter weekend break. Despite scoring first, Westminster misfired all over the ice. Missed passes, poor reads and a lack of structure defined this game. Choate capitalized on the Martlet mistakes and quickly took the game away. Iggy Belov ‘20 scored the lone Westminster goal in the first period. Despite outshooting Choate 41-20, the game ended 4-1, and the Martlets dropped another couple of points in their quest to make the top tournament. Pomfret comes to Jackson rink tomorrow night.
