Despite the Tie, Westminster Dominates

Despite being 0-0 for most of two periods, and then the Martlets being down 1-0, Westminster dominated the game in every zone. Offensive zone time was heavily lopsided, and the Martlets had a multitude of excellent opportunities, yet were unable to bury the puck. Ryan Doolin ‘18 scored in the third period to even the game, and Will Gilson ‘20 would give the Martlets the lead later in that period. Pomfret pulled their goalie and scored with :30 on the clock to make the game 2-2. Another hot goaltender for the opposition was the name of the game again for the Martlets. Westminster more than doubled the shot total of Pomfret, approaching 50. Ian Shane ‘20 was solid again in net. Hotchkiss Monday.
