A Tough Game
Jan. 17 was a tough game against Canterbury in which the Martlets met a hot goaltender who stopped 48 shots to earn a shutout. Westminster spent the majority of the game on the Saints’ doorstep, including a few very close calls where the net came off its moorings. Canterbury capitalized with a floating puck in the second period and netted an empty netter with a minute remaining. Loomis up next.
