Martlets Fall on the Road

The Westminster boys finished their season on the road against Loomis, unfortunately falling to the Pelicans 13-5. Before the match, the seniors from both sides were recognized including our own Mason Zottola ’23 and Chris Paolella ’23. Both young men are four year players in the program and they have competed well in their time as players. In the pool, the Martlets struck first but were quickly beaten back by an aggressive Pelican side who capitalized on several Westminster errors to take a commanding lead into the break. Westminster were able to tighten up their defense in the second half, with Owen Huang ’24 and Filip Tomic ’25 performing their duties admirably in the whole set. However, time would run out on the game and Westminster’s season. A big thank you as well to the parents and fans who came out to support the team this season.
