Martlets Fall to Choate

The Westminster Water Polo squad hit the road this Wednesday afternoon falling to a strong Choate side 19-10. The visitors did not back down in the opening minutes, battling defensively and managing to open the scoring with a hard fought first point scored through Jason Hu’25. The hosts rallied back quickly, forcing the Westy boys into difficult defensive situations and established a commanding lead before the half. Westminster refocused and competed in the second half with Andrew Pang ’24 chipping in to narrow the gap. Simon Stambaugh ’26 scored his first goal for Westminster with a long range rocket in the third quarter. Despite the result the Westminster side is finding their form and will look to bounce back next week.
