Martlets Fall on the Road

The JV Boys led for much of the game thanks to a goal from Daniel Olaosebikan’26, but two momentary lapses allowed Salisbury to take the win. In a fractious game with four yellow cards and one red, the Westminster boys held their emotions in check leaving Salisbury to feel up the referees ire. The officials were not card shy so it is a testament to the Westminster character that they didn’t talk themselves into the naughty book. Alex Wood ‘25 has made several appearances here, but he once again made a huge contribution with two penalty saves. Daniel scored his fifth goal in five games and was at his industrious best once again. Shaw Turton ‘24 is fearless and throws his body on the line for the team. There is a collective team effort at work here, and the boys were unlucky on the day. A visit to Trinity-Pawling on Wednesday awaits.
