Martlets Tie Taft

On a beautiful fall day, the Martlets traveled to Watertown to take on Taft. It was an even match, with neither team able to sneak the ball past the opposing goalie. Amara Graham '26 had her first game in goal. She earned the shut out and recorded four saves. The midfielders, Cricket Beard '25, Chase Hager '26, Ellie Pearman '25, Juliette Smatt '25, and Audrey Khuu '26, were busy going back and forth on the field giving their all to try and make something happen. Late in the fourth quarter, Katie Corr '25 had a break away and nearly scored on an initial shot and then on a rebound, but the Taft goalie was tough and kept the Martlets scoreless. The team will prepare to take on Granby at home for Parents Weekend this upcoming Friday.
