Martlets Finish 6th at RMI

Despite an ominous forecast and gray skies, the Martlets ordered up perfect conditions for the 2022 Richard Miller Invitational. After welcoming a near dozen other schools onto campus, the boys warmed themselves up and jumped into race mode. Captain Sam Bradley ‘23 ran his fastest career course time, taking over a full minute off his previous best on Westminster’s campus. He is joined by Jakub McKinney ‘23, James O’Connell ‘25, and Hewitt Shelton ‘23 in minute-plus course improvements as compared to years past. Junior hopeful Harvey DeMovick ‘24 came off a battle with shin splints in exciting form; specifically, his first 5k time two weeks ago was absolutely shattered with nearly two minutes of improvement. Exceptional work all around! Shoutout to all who came to volunteer and support the event, we can only make this happen with a village of help! Next week we enter our dual meet segment of the season, traveling north to Williston to face off against the home team and Kingswood Oxford.
