Martlets Shutout by Rumsey

The Martlets suffered their first loss to Rumsey Hall despite their best efforts. The defense had their work cut out for them and held a shut out for almost the entire game. Rumsey Hall was able to connect with the back of the cage to ultimately win the game with one minute left on the clock. Tay Tay Leonard '26 had numerous timely saves in goal that kept the Martlets in the game. Katie Corr '25 showed hustle and tenacity and did her best to keep the ball out of the circle. Cricket Beard '25 had strong free hits while working hard in the midfield and on defense. Elle Kozusko '25 also left it all on the field- she moved the ball up on offense, helped recover the ball at midfield, and seemed to be everywhere she was needed. The team travels to NMH on Saturday to take on the Hoggers.
