Dramat to Present “Something Rotten!” Feb. 18-20

Westminster Dramat will present the musical comedy “Something Rotten!” Feb. 18-20 in Werner Centennial Center.

Stuck in the shadow of a Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard,” two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, set out to write the world’s first musical. But amid the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self — and all that jazz — in this hilarious mashup of 16th-century Shakespeare and 21st-century Broadway. The show is rated PG 13.

Performances will take place Feb. 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. They are free and are open to vaccinated members of the public with no COVID-like symptoms. Masks are required to be worn in Werner Centennial Center, and campus visitors will be seated separately from members of the school community due to COVID safety protocols.

Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to Armour Academic Center.
