Martlets Fall on the Road
Westminster’s undefeated streak of eight straight games comes to an end on the road at Avon. The Martlets seemed to have good possession early on but didn’t do themselves any favors with an own goal in the first half of an Avon corner. Trying to dial in some energy at halftime, both teams played with a little more jump in their step. The keepers on both teams made some high quality saves in the second 45. Avon would ice the game in the 84th min to go up 2-0. The Martlets look to make a push in the last week heading into the long weekend.
