Martlets Cannot Find Way Through the Doors

Westminster put its six-game win streak on the line when the team hosted an undefeated Deerfield squad at the Kohn Squash Pavilion. Despite some great individual effort and some good squash from both squads, Deerfield prevailed with a solid 5-2 win. Great individual performances were turned in by Sasha van Vredenburch '21 who won her match in five long sets, and Wheatley Sutro '22 who prevailed by overpowering her opponent in four. Daniela Mays-Sanchez '20 fought hard and extended her opponent to five games, and Elise Strawbridge '22 won in straight sets in exhibition play. Next up, Westminster will host Choate Jan. 29.
