Seeking Improvement

Second Boys’ Hockey faced off against another solid Hillside squad and struggled to find the back of the net. With the exception of several defensive breakdowns that led to goals in a span of about five minutes, this contest would have been closer for sure. Unfortunately, the Martlets had too many ill-advised penalties during the third stanza and were unable to mount a meaningful comeback. Rich Mugler '22 played solidly between the pipes and Willie Noble '20 scored the team's only goal late in the second by executing a beautiful top shelf snap shot.
