Good Work in a Losing Cause

The Martlets fell to 3-2 on the season with a hard-fought 2-7 loss at Kent. Charlie Pappas '22 won a four-game match at No. 5 and Ral Reyes '21 won in straight games at No. 8. Gabe Lugo '23 also won a game against his opponent at No. 6. None of the other Martlets managed to take a game from their opponents although there were plenty of close games and good points. All of the boys played good squash against very talented players, never conceding and always working to keep balls alive. Next up for the Black and Gold is a match Monday at Avon Old Farms against the always-strong Winged Beavers.
