Another Strong Win

As they had the day before, the Martlets secured another 7-0 win against a local competitor. Once again, the girls dropped just one game, which is not to say that they weren't pushed. Nine games overall were decided by the minimum possible two-point margin; it is a tribute to the girls' grit that they prevailed in all but one of them, highlighted by a 14-12 second game win by captain Rebecca Sargent '20 at No. 4 and a 16-14 seesaw second game won by Gemma Green '21 at No. 6. The girls will try to make it a season sweep of Hartford-area opponents when Ethel Walker visits the Kohn Pavilion Saturday.
