Overmatched

Westminster was overmatched by a skilled and strong WMA in the third-place game of the KIT. Westminster kept it close early and only found ourselves down 15-8 at the end of the first quarter, but we struggled to get good offensive looks and WMA asserted itself on the offensive glass and interior. Co-captain Bethany Winters '20 led the team in scoring; Ashlyn Clapprood '22 played aggressively in the post; and Mari Camara '23 scored the first points of her varsity career.
