Martlets and Flacons Duel in the Skies Above Simsbury

Third Boys’ Basketball played Indian Mountain School’s varsity team at home. Westminster worked hard against a strong opponent, playing catch-up after some fast breaks from the Falcons. Lucas Wahlberg ’21 helped close the gap during the first half, continuing off of a strong showing Dec. 11. After the half, Oliver Hocking ’23 made several baskets early, and Westminster’s defense, shifting from man-to-man to zone, had more success stopping the Falcons. The second half surge was not enough for the Martlets to surpass their opponent’s lead, and the game ended at 25 to 56.
