Westminster Gets its First Win of the Young Season

Westminster secured its first win of the season with a decisive victory over Salisbury. Every player, from the top of the ladder to the bottom, played well; it was a true team effort. Jay Henry '23 and Cooper Organ '21 returned from their stint playing (and winning) for the JV team to secure their matches at Nos. 1 and 2 in straight sets, with Henry yielding only six points in total. The match of the day belonged to Oliver Fenner '22, who split his first four games (losing the fourth 15-13 as his opponent staved off three match points) and then, with players from both teams cheering madly, won the fifth and decisive game, 11-5, to secure the team shutout as well a trip to McDonald's on the return.
