Lewin, Monroe Buoy Martlets

On a nice early spring day, the team traveled to Lakeville for a matchup with Hotchkiss. All of the matches went 0-8 on the day except those in which Matt Lewin '20, and Jacob Monroe '20 played. In doubles Lewin and Monroe used an aggressive I-formation to win many points at net. A few double faults gifted the Hotchkiss team some games. Ahead 6-5, Lewin and Monroe were unable to finish on top and succumbed 6-8. In singles both boys also were competitive. Monroe used the whole court with the tactical skill of a chess master. As his skills improve, he will be a player to be reckoned with.
