Young Athletes Shine

Claire Taylor '21 once again led all scorers as she won the pole vault and triple jump. Captain Maya Ruffin '19 won the shot put and placed third in the discus. Bella Tawney '22 placed second in the javelin and high jump. Martlets took three of four places in the javelin: Tawney was followed closely by Alisa Toner '21 and Ashlyn Clapprood '22. Dylan Foster '20 finished second in the 200m and fourth in the long jump. In the distance events, Solveig Nycander '20 finished third in the 3000m and fourth in the 1500m while Laura Mittelman '20 finished fourth in the 800m and cheerfully chipped in to help the 4x400m relay team to second place.
