A Promising Start

The season got off to a great start at home versus Suffield and Cheshire academies. The high scorer on the day was Sean Clarke '19 followed by Greyson Pane '22 then Emmett de Kanter '19. Clarke won the 100m and 200m in exciting fashion. He was also part of the winning 4x100m relay team and tried his hand at the 110m hurdles, finishing in second behind the winner, Pane. Pane also won the 300m hurdles. De Kanter won the 1500m and placed second in the 800m. Pane and de Kanter were both part of the second place 4x400m relay team, along with Nate Pane '19 and Drew Brownback '19. Brownback also won the pole vault. Dylan Holley '20 won the 3000m followed by Justin Schuster '19, who also scored in the 1500m. Other scorers include Matt Park '21 in the long jump, Roman Mitchell '20 in the pole vault, Aidan Petrie '20 in the 400m, Xander Cardia '21 in the 100m and Tunji Osho-Williams '21 in the triple jump.
