First Boys Place Fifth at 47th KITT

First Boys' Tennis participated in the two-day KITT hosted by Kingswood Oxford School. The tournament featured some of the best teams in New England as well as perennial powerhouse Lawrenceville School from New Jersey. Ethan Na '19 and Grant McCargo '21 advanced in the main draw to the finals of the No. 2 doubles bracket before falling to Groton. Their path to the finals included three-set victories over Deerfield and Hotchkiss. Na also finished third at the No. 3 singles bracket. Azat Mukhametkulov '19 reached the consolation finals at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles with partner Carl Ekholm '19. McCargo also battled to reach the consolation finals at No. 4 singles. It was a great weekend of tennis for Westminster, and the team is now ready to take on the challenging Founders League schedule.
