Westminster Outscored by Loomis in First Half of Loss

The Martlets jumped out to a 12-8 lead only to see it vanish when they started turning the ball over. With Loomis Chaffee's length and athleticism, Westminster couldn’t afford to panic. Loomis capitalized on Martlet mistakes, taking a substantial lead on some easy layups and timely three-point shots before the first half was over. The second half was evenly played, but the Martlets couldn’t chip their way back into the game. Teddy Schellbach '20 had a gritty game, scoring 12 points and grabbing nine boards; Eddie Lie-A-Cheong '19 continued his hot streak with 14 points; and Lukas Dudzik '19 had a quiet but nonetheless effective day, chalking up eight rebounds and seven steals to go along with six points.
