A Talented Opponent

Westminster played a great first half and only trailed a big and talented Porter's team 12-16. Unfortunately, the defense and rebounding broke down in the second half, and the team didn't compensate with significantly better offense, so the visiting Fighting Daisies were able to gradually pull away and put the game out of reach with about three minutes to play. Bethany Winters '20 had another great game and led Westminster in scoring; Bella Tawney '22 led the team in rebounding and Margaret Kennedy '22 gave a great defensive effort and made several nice passes.
