Westminster Comes Up Short Against Rumsey Hall

On Dec. 5, the Thirds from Westminster made the drive to face off against a well-coached and skilled team from Rumsey Hall. Despite a strong start after the long trip, Rumsey Hall lucked into two fortunate bounces that took some wind out of the team’s proverbial sail, and the boys went into the first break down 3-0. The second period brought newfound fight from the Westminster side manifested in some much-needed physicality as well as strong goaltending from Rich Mugler ’22, however, despite a few key chances late in the game, Westminster ultimately wasn’t able to put the puck in the net, and travelled back home with the loss. They will open their home schedule against Northfield Mount Hermon Saturday.
