French 2 Students Practice Recent Lessons On Hartford Field Trip

Nineteen students from Mme McGuigan’s French 2 classes took a field trip to Hartford Dec. 4 to dine at Max Downtown. The classes had just finished learning about food, ordering a meal in a restaurant and the history of the Michelin guide.

During their outing, students had a chance to put what they learned into practice. With a French-speaking waiter, students had the opportunity to order their meals in French. Throughout the luncheon, students spoke to each other in French and discussed their classes, their favorite foods and even what they are wearing to Winter Formal.
