Despite the Score, a Solid Effort

Westminster opened its season against a feisty and determined Hartford Wolfpack. Natalie Rubin '19 scored just three minutes into the half on an excellent individual effort and backhand finish. The Martlets were led by Julia Krys '19 who played outstanding in net, saving 27 of the 35 shots she faced. Along with Krys, an experienced defense unit, made up of Greta Baker '19, Blake Cote '19, Layla Ennis '19, Caroline McDermott '20 and Susie Renehan '19, challenged the Wolfpack's talented attacking efforts. A great team effort against a skilled team.
