Martlets Play Best Game of the Season, but Fall Short

The Martlets arrived in Sheffield, Massachusetts ready to play the Bears of Berkshire School. This was easily the most evenly-matched contest of the season so far. The Martlets and Bears traded two-goal leads throughout the entire game. Westminster played excellent in all facets of the game. Ben Ferrell '21 had yet another stellar game with an amazing 15+ save game to keep the Martlets in it. The offense was fueled by Teddy Schellbach '20 with two goals and he was supported by Travis Paulsen '20, Baker Morton '22, Grant Pietri '22, Jordy Nelson '21 and Theo Vandervoorn '20 each adding one tally. In the end, the Martlets could not convert in the final minute to force overtime. They should be proud of their effort and determination today and look to rebound against Kent on Saturday.
