How to Apply for Financial Aid

Westminster uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process our financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information families provide on the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS), SSS will use a standard calculation to determine an estimated amount that families can contribute toward educational expenses. The Westminster Financial Aid Committee uses this estimation, in concert with supporting tax documentation, as a starting point that will aid in the determination of a fair and objective financial aid award.

While our commitment to tuition assistance remains strong, our resources are largely allocated by March 10th each year. Therefore, we advise families to make every effort to meet the deadlines for admission and financial aid. Financial Aid Applications or the Parent Financial Statements (PFS) may be submitted beginning October 24th and must be completed by January 15th with the previous year's tax documentation. Completed 2017 tax documentation is due on February 15th. Students applying for the first time and for returning students who have not previously received aid you must notify the Director of Financial Aid that you intend to apply for the coming year. Applications for Financial Aid will ONLY be accepted when submitted electronically through the SSS Family Portal http://sssbynais.org/parents/
