The WISE program (Westminster Interactive Summer Experience) kicks off its fourth summer with an exciting array of online courses for middle and high school students. From the study of famous battles, to literature and algebra, from Spanish and genetics, to Chinese language and computer science, the courses are designed to prepare students for the coming school year as well as stimulate their curiosity and develop study skills which will help them in all their future academic pursuits.
For the summer of 2017, Westminster faculty will offer a slate of tutorial-style, non-credit courses. These courses will be offered during two separate two-week sessions: July 10 - July 21 and July 31 - August 11. Students will engage directly with faculty each day for an hour and will receive feedback on their independent work, with an overarching goal of improving their critical reading, writing, and verbal skills. In many instances, the courses can provide a preview of the coming year or prepare for a specific standardized test or essay.
Class meetings take place online. The daily online meeting times will have flexibility, and the class teachers may provide a range of meeting times to help with planning purposes.

Those students who register before May 15th will receive a discounted tuition of $800, and there is a $50 discount when a family registers for multiple courses. Financial aid may be available for current Westminster students. Registration for each course will remain open until a week before the session begins, and the enrollment for a course is capped at eight students to maintain the tutorial experience.
